I wasn't able to get thru on the call but here's the issue that my users are running into.
We have about 10 users on the 8x pilot group. They're using 801 standard multi-user client / template / server. Some users have complained of a delay of upwards of 15-30 seconds when opening an external e-mail in the preview or in a full window. The delay do not occur with all external e-mails. . Internal e-mails are fine as well. Viewing the same e-mail using the basic client or when using dwa7 template also results in no delay. Problematic e-mails tend to contain some html text but no graphics.
I've a PMR # 54508,999 open with support but troubleshooting the issue have not produced any positive results so far. We've ruled out anti-virus, template, mailbox, server version, hardware as the culprit and now we need to look at debugging the standard client using process monitor or some other built-in notes tool / logging method etc..
This issue is currently a show stopper for us and might even push management towards Exchange / Outlook migration if this doesn't get resolved soon and we push out the 801 client to our user base.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
